Banshailang Mukhim, Shillong

Banshailang is a folk musician, multi-instrumentalist and a full-time performer, composer and music arranger. He is currently a teacher in the music institute of St. Joseph Socio and Cultural Organisation, Laitkor.

He completed his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Music from Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong. He has been a teacher and a music instructor ever since he graduated from MLCU and has had the privilege to work with various institutes and organisations in and around Shillong.

Ban has shared the stage with Dalariti, Lamphang Syiemlieh, Soulmate and the Clansmen

  1. Young Talented Artist award in 2016 – 2017 awarded by the North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur,

The Department of Theology under the Faculty of Religious Studies and Theology is happy to invite you to the Online PhD  Public Defense of Mr. Jimmy Joseph Paul, which will be held on June 21, 2021 (Monday) from 11 am onwards.
 
Mr. Jimmy Joseph Paul worked on the topic “Institutionalization and the Exclusion of Women as Leaders of the Church: A Historical study up to the Fourth Century” under the supervision of Dr. Arthur Jeyakumar.
