Duration: 2 years (4 semesters coursework with 6 months’ internship)
Eligibility: 10 pass or equivalent
The programme prepares a DMIT or an Imaging Technician to be equipped with knowledge and skills in theory and practical work related to Anatomy and Physiology, Basics of Physics, Radiological Physics, knowledge in darkroom procedures and radiographic positioning of patients, handling equipments that deal with radiological techniques, interpret X-Rays and reporting to Physician, ensuring radiation safety and various modalities related to Radiological techniques. During the internship period, the student will be able to gain in-depth knowledge and skills such as handling radiological equipments and techniques, radiation safety on their own and interpret radiological reports to the physician.
