Campus Development

New Campus Plan

The University has been experiencing a steady increase in student admissions over the years, with students enrolling from all the eight states of the Northeast and from the neighboring countries of Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Bhutan and Nepal. With more than 1500 students who are enrolled in more than 50 different study programs offered by the university conducted through 11 different departments, MLCU foresees a steady growth in the years to come. To cope up with this growth, the University has recently purchased a plot of land located at Umphyrnai Village, East Khasi Hills District, measuring about 21.2280 acres for the purpose of setting up of the University Campus.

Skill test for Internship and Job Placement

As per UGC circular for University/College/Institute (also of UGC Site) & Directives by AICTE/MHRD all the students of Martin Luther Christian University are strongly advised to give an Online Skill Test at Youth4Work website. The following are some of the benefits for the students:

  1. Showcase the skills and the profiles to top companies/organizations
  2. Increase the chance of getting Internship in top companies/organizations
  3. Reach out to the maximum employers/recruiters

This test will take 5 mins and can be given using their mobile computer labs or library too.

It assess their skills like Aptitude, Communication Skills, Engineering or Management through online tests in sets of 10 questions only. The more they score in these tests, better are their chances of being contacted by Recruiters.

The tests, profiling & JOB/Internship opportunities is made completely FREE for all students of MLCU.

The test can be provided using a SMART PHONE/DESKTOP/LAPTOP

Steps of Online Talent Test:

  • All students must give any 2 tests of their choice at https://www.youth4work.com/onlinetalenttest
  • This test will take 30 mins and can be given from web or mobile both from anywhere. Students can give on the college computer labs or from homes too.
  • Students should attempt tests on Communication Skills, Sales and any of the core discipline.
  • It assess their skills like Aptitude, Communication Skills, Engineering or Management through online tests in sets of 10 questions only. The more they score in these tests, better are their chances of being contacted by Recruiters.
