  1. “An enriching day at the Monolith Festival 2024 as Martin Luther Christian University Press unveiled two remarkable additions: ‘Khasi Ethics’ & ‘Ha Yupiam Ka Bei’. Authored by Fr. Barnes Mawrie SDB, ‘Khasi Ethics’ delves deep into the timeless cultural norms guiding the Khasi community, while ‘Ha Yupiam Ka Bei’ by Amabel Susngi presents a collection of 25 Khasi lullabies, a treasure trove of tradition and melody. Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Prestone Tynsong’s launch marks a celebration of heritage and literature.
  2. Yesterday on the 7th March 2024, the Department of Music set the stage on fire at the Monolith Festival’s Inaugural Program with a captivating performance of the festival’s theme song. Their talent and passion illuminated the event, setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
