MISSION
The School of Economics, Commerce and Management aspires to prepare and develop students with relevant industrial, managerial and entrepreneurial knowledge, skills, and values, thereby, empowering them to be self-reliant and capable of making meaningful contributions to society.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Over the years the School of Economics, Commerce and Management has offered
undergraduate and postgraduate programs in these fields, the fruits of which we
now see in our students who have graduated from MLCU. The scope of Economics,
Commerce and Management is wide and has enabled the inclusion of other new
programmes e.g., MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management.
The school supports interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and collaborative learning.
Learning will be strengthened through live projects, case studies, field visits, extracurricular activities and, internships.
