Anti-Ragging Policy


The University has implemented the regulations notified by the University Grants Commission on curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009.

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive educational environment for all students. Ragging is strictly prohibited and is considered a serious offense that can result in expulsion and legal action.

What is Ragging? Ragging is any conduct by any student or students, whether by words spoken or written, or by an act, which has the effect of teasing, treating, or handling with rudeness any other student. It also includes any activity which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, or psychological harm to a fresher or any other student.

Preventive Measures:

  • Mandatory anti-ragging affidavits signed by all students and their guardians.
  • Regular awareness programs and workshops on the consequences of ragging.
  • Strict surveillance and monitoring of vulnerable areas within the campus.

    Legal Framework: In accordance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directives and the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, we have implemented anti-ragging committee towards ragging.

    Support and Counselling: Victims of ragging can access support and counselling services through our Office of the Dean of Students or they can contact: +919362703349. Confidentiality and immediate assistance are guaranteed.

    4.  After you filled all the necessary information, click on “Submit form”. Now this is important, please note down your reference no., email id and contact number which is shown on your screen.

    5. Now, you need to download the affidavit form which you will need to submit later to the University. To do this, go to this link:

    7.  Now you can download your affidavit form. You need to print it and keep it with you.
