Duration: 5 months
Eligibility: Any bachelor degree with minimum of 6 months experience in the NGO sector, ability to speak and write in English and basic computer skills
The course is designed to enhance knowledge and skill in developing project proposals and implementation related to the functioning of the NGO/s. It consists of competencies that a trainee must be able to develop in accordance with the standard format of the donor agencies. Besides the implementation of the project, the trainee will also be trained in its monitoring and evaluation.
Course of study
Lectures, demonstration, group discussions, assignments, case studies, field assignments, class exercises.
Career prospects
The course would give the graduates an added advantage as they will have knowledge and skills to prepare project proposals, raise funds for activities and projects and also take on individual assignments in monitoring and evaluation. The graduates would find job opportunities in government and non-government organisations (NGOs), that is, in long and short-term assignments in project based activities
