Those who opt for 4 years are eligible for lateral entry to 2ndyear of the MSW
Eligibility: Class 12 Science or Arts or Commerce
The Bachelor of Social Work programme promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people. Principles of social justice, human rights, collective responsibility, and respect for diversity are central to social work. In the light of this, students will be taught a variety of skills, techniques, and activities with a holistic focus on persons and their environment.
This will involve field practicum, group work, community work, social work
methods, and school interventions.
Those who opt for four years (honours or honours with research), the following
honours are offered:
• Family and Child Studies
• Community Development
• Public Health
• Medical Social Work
• Psychiatric Social Work
