The Martin Luther Christian university was ranked 7th among India’s top higher education institutions
under the category –  Diversity, Inclusivity and Equity and ranked 1st in Meghalaya under the category
Private Multidisciplinary Universities, by The Education World India Higher Education Ranking
2025-26- the country’s largest and most in-depth Higher education ratings and rankings survey, based
on field interviews with more than 2,100 knowledgeable stakeholders in higher education countrywide.

The award ceremony was held at the Grand New Delhi, Vasant Kunj on April 25, 2025
