The main Library of Martin Luther Christian University, the Dr. Homiwell Library, has been named after the late Dr. Homiwell Lyngdoh (1877-1958) who was “a physician, a political and a social thinker as well as a church leader”. “He contributed substantially to the study of Khasi Literature and culture”. The University has Central and Mini Libraries, Central library in main campus at Nongrah, and mini library at Umsawli. Both the library is housed in the respective campus and is accessible to all the students and staff of MLCU.  The central library is RFID enabled library. The Library is equipped with computers and internet facilities for the students to browse for reading materials related to their studies, and also has photocopying and spiral-binding facilities.

Vision: To provide service and support to the teaching faculties staff students and researchers and to enhance the quest for knowledge, intellectual and create easy access and retrieval of information.

Mission: To promote a knowledge enriched learning community, which is committed to support the development and empowerment of the communities we serve with integrity. And to support and provide the students, staff, researcher and other user in fulfilling the needs and requirement and create atmosphere wherein patrons may carry on the learning process enjoyable.
