PhD Online Public Defence 2020

 

 

 

 

 

MLCU conducted a two-day PhD Online Public Defence on the 30th and 31st July, 2020 where 7 candidates successfully presented their dissertations virtually in the presence of the members of the Doctoral Committee, examiners, supervisors administrators,  faculty members along with over 200 participants who witnessed the proceedings online.

The following are the successful research scholars along with their thesis titles and supervisors:

  2. Ms. Minorita Lyngdoh: Monitoring and Analyzing Students Academic Performance using Social Networking Sites as a Teaching-Learning Tool for Undergraduate Students supervised by Prof. Glenn C. Kharkongor
  3. Ms. Alino Sumi: Traditional Ecological Knowledge of the Sumi Tribe of Nagaland in Weather Prediction for Agriculture supervised by Dr. Subashish DasGupta
  4. Ms. Melodynia Marpna: Dietary Patterns of Tribal Under-Five year old Children with Moderate Acute Malnutrition, and Associated Social Factors in Umling Block, RiBhoi District, Meghalaya supervised by Prof. Glenn C. Kharkongor
  5. Ms. Colleen Sonia Pariat: A Study on the Commonest Gene Mutations Associated with Rifampicin and Isoniazid Resistant Tuberculosis in East Khasi Hills District Meghalaya supervised by Dr. Sundeep Chaitanya
  6. Ms. Lalropuii: Intergenerational Transmission of Trauma: Resilience and Vulnerabilities of Families in Mizoram supervised by Prof. Tony Sam George
  7. Mr. Julian Oscar Dhar: Career Planning and Career Development Programmes in Higher Educational Institutions in East Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya supervised by Dr. Maribon Viray
